What is the StuTS?

StuTS ([ʃtʊts]) stands for student conference on linguistics, and this is what it is: a conference organized by students and for students of linguistics in any of its flavours. At the same time the StuTS hosts the federal convention of student associations in linguistic departments. The StuTS exists since 1987 and is organized in a different location each semester. It offers a rich programme of talks on many different topics pertaining to linguistics, cultural events for participants and the possibility to get to know nice people. More information on the StuTS and its history can be found here.

About the 48th StuTS

After the 25th StuTS in the summer semester of 1999 the 48th StuTS will be the second to be hosted in Potsdam. The organizers are students of different courses of study related to linguistics at the University of Potsdam. They are supported by the student associations of Romance studies, German studies and Linguistics at the university.
